Meera was born 1898 in the Scottish countryside, daughter to retired soldier and mayor Howland Reed, who raised her not only caringly and educated, but also with all military discipline, wisdom and knowledge on fire-weapons, map-reading and strategy.

When her father was summoned to serve the British army once again, the administration of the Greywater village was left under her responsability. At the age of sixteen, the town was taken with a coup d’etat by Germanic troops, forcing her to run away and separate from her brother, who she believes to be dead.

Hitchhiking through Europe, doing all sorts of small jobs and favours, dealing with lack of money, battlefield enviroment and haunted by the ghost of Jojen's possible murder, she ends up reaching London, where, at last, the odds may change for either better... or worse.

OOC: Hm... Did you people read Meera's prose scene? ... No? Oh, okay.

Shades of Failure

The unfortunate events of Meera Reed.

For Answer the Call, an ASoIaF WWI AU Roleplay

The more the room emptied, the more people appeared. They seemed to come out of the walls, sneak through holes in the carpet, materialize from every simple blow of smoke. Dozens and dozens of men, crowded together beneath the winds of expectation. And all had their faces focused on her. At least, that was the impression. Even there, shrunken, cloaked in a thousand jackets and head covered by a monstrous captain’s hat, it was as if her bare presence shouted: “OUTSIDER”.

Gentlemen, I know this group here is fierce and epic and is taking over some of our RP lives. Yet, remember we had another one which was also fierce and epic? We can’t just forget about the RR, poor dudes over there think the group is dead.

As I’ve said before: The problem seems to be that we still have not reached Harrenhal over there - I think we were waiting for Laurel on that…not sure if we should continue to do so or just…arrive…If we go with “let’s continue to wait on arriving,” my suggestion would be that various traveling parties can combine / more people can interact the closer we get there….That’s my thought, anyway.

Yes, I know, Cass. This post was actually directed to the other players because, well, due to the fact your RR account is in the same e-mail as your ATC account, you’re quite active in both of them. The thing is people — the OTHER people — are no longer loging. It’s more of an abandomnent thing than a storyline problem — if I can remember, the royal court (aka Targaryens, Martells in king’s landing and Daynes) isn’t even on the way to Harrenhal yet.

OOC: Face Claim

Following Cat’s, Lyanna’s and Asha’s exemple, I’m changing my FC. No more Skins cast. Jessica Brown-Findlay for the win.

Hi guys - it’s Cassie here…just trying to do some clean-up while Laurel is gone so everything’s nice and shiny when she gets back.

It looks like the following characters don’t have official profiles yet: Alysane Mormont, Jorelle Moront, Willas Tyrell, Sam Tarly, Ramsay Boelter, Arthur Dayne,…

“Needs to be redone”?

I already did! It’s right here, all you have to do is reblog.

By the way I’ll use this opportunity to ask you all to read the extended bio. There is some new information that’ll be kind of crucial if you plan on RPing with me.

So far only Jorah and Theon read it (since they were the only ones to “like” it), and I’m afraid people can be confused in the story if they don’t know the stuff I put there.

Yes, thanks - I meant I was going to go edit the original profile to reflect your changes. :)

Also, I realized that in addition to Catelyn, there’s been FC changes for Lyanna and Asha as well, so I’ll try to change those, too.  There are several people whose FCs I either don’t know or who don’t have photos up yet, so once I get those, your profiles will follow.  Sorry about any confusion!

Roslin’s FC is Kelly Macdonald. Her biggest roles were in Boardwalk Empire and Harry Potter (she plays the Grey Lady)

Ashara’s is Anna Mouglalis. I don’t know much about her…

Arthur’s is Mads Mikkelsen. Don’t know him either, but apparently he and Mouglalis co-starred a film about Igor Stravinsky and Coco Chanel.

Elia’s is Indira Varma.

Jeyne P.’s is… Oh bloody hell, I know her from somewhere… Oh! Right! It’s Sarah Bolger. She’s Princess Mary from the Tudors :3

Lady Nym’s is Janina Gavankar. I know nothing about her.

Sarella’s is Chipo Chung.

I’m not sure about Tyene, but I believe her name is Bipasha Basu

Rhaegar is Dan Stevens (MY SWEET MATTHEW FROM DOWNTON ABBEY *u*)

Sam didn’t pick a face claim yet… But I guess he’ll use the same as in the show, whose name is John Bradley-West

Willas… No idea. No idea at all. I barelly know the character, so…

Yeah.

Hope this helped :)
